Objective: Poetry Terms

1. Bell Work: Get out your Poetry Terms from yesterday.  Then, I am going to talk about why I LOVE today's date!!!!

2. "Roller Coaster" Poem by Rebecca Kai Dotlich
3. Personal Narrative: Write an essay explaining about a memorable, enjoyable day from your childhood.  
1. Be sure to include dialogue, sensory language, and details.  
2. Count your words.  
4. Work on Unit 5 Vocabulary (due Friday!)
5. Reminder/Announcements:
1. This week is the start of the 5th six weeks.  
2. Only 4 weeks until SPRING BREAK!!!!
3. W23 DRE is due Friday.
4. No School on Monday, February 20th.
