    1. It may be done on paper or on Google Draw.
    2. If you use clip art or images from the internet, you will need to have the sources cited.
    3. Be sure that you can explain the information you have included.
    4. 65% of your grade will be over the information, 35% will be creativity.
    5. Use the internet to help you get ideas...but DO NOT COPY!!!

    2. It is supposed to be due today at 4:00pm.  If you work hard, I MIGHT push the due date back to Monday.
    3. It will NOT be done electronically.  This will be handwritten.  
    4. See examples.
    5. You may use any of the supplies that I have put out.

Objective: Reading Comprehension, Vocabulary Development

  1. NEW BELL WORK INSTRUCTIONS
    1. We will start doing Bell Work on a Google Doc in Google Classroom, until further notice. Here's how it is going to work...each day you will write the Bell Work Number (#1, #2, #3, etc.), the date, and COPY the bell work question(s) from my blog.  Then you will answer the bell work.  In between each bell work, please put a double or triple space, so I can easily see a distinction between entries.  Also, each day, you will put the newest bell work AT THE TOP of the Google Doc.  
    2. Also, because it is the 2nd six weeks, we are going to ADD 10 words...every day you will write at least 50 words and use at least two SAT words.  The ONLY time you WON'T do this is when I SPECIFICALLY say that it doesn't have to be that long.  
    3. I hope all of this makes sense!!!!!!
  2. 2nd Six Weeks Bell Work #1:

HAPPY BANNED BOOKS WEEK!  This is a week celebrating your FREEDOM TO READ! 

  1. Bell Work #18-Free Write
    1. Yes, it must be at least 40 words.
    2. Yes, it must have every 10th word underlined.
    3. Yes, it must have at least two SAT words in it, but it can be from any of the first 5 weeks of school.  
  2. Get your bell work spiral ready to turn in:
    1. Count the number of bell work entries you have.  
    2. Put the number at the end of your last bell work entry.  
    3. Then count the number of words in each bell work entry.  
    4. Put that number at the end of each entry.  
    5. Make sure your first and last name is on the cover of your spiral.  
    6. Make sure your class period is also written on the front of your spiral. (I have silver and black sharpies if you need one!)
    7. Turn it in to the green file box on my green chair.  
  3. Grade Week 6 DRE
  4. Finish Short Answer Questions
    1. You may work with your group, but every person needs to write their answers on their own paper.  
    2. Use text evidence!!!!
  5. If you finish early, you may work on the Alternate Ending for "The Monkey's Paw" or "Contents of the Dead Man's Pocket" (Google Classroom) or anything else that you need to finish for this six weeks.
