Week 27, Day 3
Objective: Expository Writing

1. Bell Work:  Get your spiral and get ready to do your 10 minute journal writing.  Remember the guidelines (on the wall.)
2. Work in your group from yesterday.
3. Get your folder from the sub.  All work that you do today, must go in the folder and be given to the sub at the end of class.
4. As a group you will...
1. Write your thesis statement.
2. Complete a "Summarizing Framework"
3. Complete an "Expository Checklist"
4. (ONLY ONE OF EACH OF THESE NEEDS TO BE COMPLETED PER GROUP)
5. Announcements:
1. English I STAAR/EOC is next Tuesday, March 28th.
2. I am at a UIL District Meet in Arlington today.  Be good for the sub.  
3. W27 DRE is due on Friday.
