Week 17, Day 3
Objective: Persuasion

1. Bell Work is now Appetizers!
1. New Six Weeks
2. 4th six weeks will require 70 words, unless otherwise specified.  
3. No SAT words, until I tell you otherwise.
2. Appetizer #2-The three methods of persuasion are logos, ethos, and pathos.  Define each and provide an example.
3. Week 17 SAT Words
4. Watch a brief video over the methods of persuasion: Persuasive Writing Video
5. Identify the methods of persuasion in Antony's funeral speech in The Tragedy of Julius Caesar.
6. Complete an activity titled How Persuasive Can You Be to practice using the three methods of persuasion. (Google Classroom)
7. HOMEWORK (If you didn't do it last night!)- Watch TV tonight and pay close attention to the commercials.  See if you can identify which method of persuasion is used.
