Week 18, Day 1

Objective: grave level vocabulary, and listening for understanding; revising and editing; comprehension of informational text (expository and procedural)

1. Bell Work: Free Write
1. This answer must be in your google doc that you created last Wednesday.
2. Paragraph format
3. At least 70 words
4. Use at least 2 SAT words from last week.
2. Week 17 SAT Quiz
3. Read this article and take notes on it.  Think of the importance of reading non-fiction.  Do you look at non-fiction reading differently than fiction reading?
4. Quizlet--study for your SAT Quiz next Monday
5. DRE--We will grade both sides of the DRE this Friday.
6. Reminders:
1. I will be gone Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday of this week and expect you to be good for Mrs. Anglin.  If she writes your name down as a problem, it will be a write-up upon my return.  
2. I will need your orange sheet to approve your non-fiction book on Thursday.
